*VACANT ORIMOLUSI STOOL: SYCHOPHANTS EXPLORE IT TO EXPLOIT IJEBU IGBO – Cleric Furious*
By Friday Ajibade
20th Sept; 2020
A renowned Cleric of a Pentecostal church in Ijebu Igbo, Pastor Paul, has berated the pranks of the flunky Aborigines who are exploiting the vacuum of Orimolusi absence to enrich themselves and thereby tasks the Ojuromi ruling family to cut them to size by doing the needful in earnest.
The Cleric, while he was reacting to the relationship of Dangote Mining company with Ijebu Igbo in the absence of Orimolusi, furious at the devilish mindset behind the protracted legal tussle over Orimolusi ascension, which he asserted had created vacuum for some parasitic sycophants to explore it for their selfish reasons.
Quoting the soft spoken man of God in an interaction after Church service at Ojowo, he said: *“…that we are complaining about Dangote menace in Ijebu Igbo doesn’t freak me but for those who use the privilege of absence of Orimolusi to cause more chaos to the chastisement of vacant stool it self. I see them as sycophants and such engaged act is devilish…”*
It was said that the Dangote representatives had a meeting with the representatives of Ijebu Igbo on Friday at town hall, with agenda on how to curb the incessant killing of lives by Dangote trucks in the town and the rehabilitation of the damaged roads.
In reaction, Pastor Paul says: *“…though the meeting is a good initiative, but to me I advise the community to appeal to Prince Wale to go and withdraw the pending file from Supreme court. There are saboteurs amongst the leaders in the town who always betray the collective efforts of the majority. If there is no Orimolusi as a rallying figure, all effort towards unity and progress will continue to hit the wall.”*
When asked further on possible solution to bring sanity to this imbroglio, Pastor says: *“it is just unfortunate that some people allow selfishness and lack of vision to stagnate this town for 26 years without an Oba. The eternal throne is in heaven where we reign like king till eternity. What does it profit those responsible for this long delay but loose the kingdom of God? They should all repent, sheath the sword and surrender to fate. They should withdraw the case from court”*
While pressing further to ascertain the reason of singling out Prince Wale on the withdrawal from Supreme Court, the Cleric says: *“…If at my age you think I am a novice to what is happening in Ijebu Igbo, you are making mistake. I know most of Ojuromi family members. It is just a pity for them and they should be ashamed of themselves. Prince Wale Kassim is the appellant at the Supreme Court, now tell me who is in the best position to withdraw the case? I learnt that the community have appealed to him on two different occasions, what does he want again? Ete lo ma gbeyin oro gbogbo won.*
Pastor Paul who spoke in annoyance expressed sympathy for the future of Ijebu Igbo if things continue like this.
